Little History on the Junkyard 302
"Started out as an 4 cyl. a Stock 148k mile 302 was dropped in and the
homemade twin turbo kit was modified with exhaust piping/cracker box welds and
Home Built Modified Carb and 2 Turbochargers off a 91 Dodge Cummins diesel,
worked well enough too click off 7.0's-6.9's 1/8 with 273 gears and factory rims
& tires. Played with it for a year or two and 3 Junkyard motors later, tuned
the car too run its best of 6.19@110.4 1/8 and backed it with a 6.29. All for
around 5k in whole car. People started inquiring about the set up and junk
motors being used and got its own name of the JunkYard302...
4 yrs later and allot of shit talkers pushing buttons I ended up building a
Stroked SB on Alky less than 350 C.I. and Twin 76 mm Turbochargers and Paint
from Mike at MPH, and a few other new modifications, wheel tubs, coilovers etc
and now have a Monster that needs a Leash and a Play Pin!"
